Good News
Christianity is not a man made religion, but a personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ.
STEP 1
God loves you and has a plan for you now and forever.
The Bible says, God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life (Joh 3:16).
Jesus said, I came that they may have life and have it abundantly — a complete life full of purpose (Joh 10:10).
The Good News is that God loves all people, but hates the sin that destroys them and those around them.
STEP 2
Here's the problem: people are sinful and separated from God.
We have all done, thought or said bad things, which the Bible calls sin. The Bible says, All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23). Jer 5:25 Your sins have withheld good things from you.
The result of sin is death, spiritual separation from God (Rom 6:23). Everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin (Joh 8:34).
STEP 3
God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for your sins.
Jesus died in our place so we could have a relationship with God and be with Him forever.
God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Rom 5:8). But it didn’t end with His death on the cross. He rose again and still lives!
Christ died for our sins. … He was buried. … He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures (1Co 15:3-4). Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus said, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me (Joh 14:6).
STEP 4
Would you like to receive God’s forgiveness right now?
We can’t earn salvation; we are saved by God’s grace when we have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.
All you have to do is believe you are a sinner, that Christ died for your sins, and ask His forgiveness. Then turn from your sins—that’s called repentance. Jesus Christ knows you and loves you. What matters to Him is the attitude of your heart, your honesty.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to clean us from all unrighteousness. If you confess with your mouth, Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For from your heart you believe and are righteous, and with your mouth you confess and are saved – 1Jo 1:9; Rom 10:9-10.
What happens if I reject Jesus as Savior and Lord?
Jesus said in Mar 16:16 Anyone who believes (in Him) and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. Heb 9:27 It is appointed for everyone to die once, and after that comes judgment. Rev 22:12 My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. There is a hell, but you don’t have to go there — if you accept Jesus as God’s Son and make Him the Lord of your life (Joh 3:16-28; Luk 16:19-31).
To accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior say the suggested prayer below from your heart…
Dear Father in Heaven, I know that I have sinned. I believe Jesus Christ is Your son and that You sent Him to save me. I believe Jesus was crucified on the cross for my sins, He was buried, He was raised from the dead, and He returned to heaven and sat down at Your right hand. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I believe all my sins are forgiven and I am now born again. Take control of my life and make me the person You want me to be. I will follow Jesus and trust Him always. Thank You God, for forgiving me and giving me everlasting life. In the Name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
If you prayed the prayer above…
- You are now a born again Christian (Joh 3:3-6; Rom 8:16; 1 John 5:10; 2Co 5:17).
- Your sins are forgiven (Rom 4:7; 1 Joh 1:7-9).
- You have everlasting life (Joh 3:16; 11:25; 1Jo 2:25).
- You can now depend on God and ask Him to help you (Mat 7:7-9; 18:19; Joh 15:7).
We’re excited that you have made a commitment to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. This is the most important day of your life!
STEP 5
What to do now that you are a Christian.
Regularly attend a Christ centered church that believes in the Bible, answers to prayer, healing, miracles, prosperity, and Holy Spirit power: Heb 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Psa 122:1 I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.
Read God’s Word, the Bible, often: 2Ti 3:16-17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Always obey God: Joh 14:21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is He who loves Me. And He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him.
Be a good witness and live for God by your life and words: Joh 15:8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
Talk to God in prayer daily: Mat 21:22 All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. Mark 11:24 Whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Joh 16:24 Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be full. 1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
You can trust God to help you with:
- Healing: Jam 5:14 The prayer of faith will heal the sick.
- Prosperity & Health: 3Jo 1:2 I pray that you may prosper and enjoy good health, even as your soul is getting along well.
- Addictions: Joe 2:32 Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be delivered.
- Relationships: 1Co 1-13 Love never fails. Joh 13:34 A new command I give you: love one another. as I have loved you, so you must love one another.
- Plans: Jer 29:11 I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
- Other cares and needs: 1Pe 5:7 Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you.
Trust the Holy Spirit to help you daily: Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Visit the Holy Spirit Baptism page.
Jesus will never leave you or forsake you, He is with you always (Heb 13:5; Mat 28:20).
